RTasks makes the entry and management of electronic health records easy and efficient. 

From the creation of a basic resident profile to the addition of services, medications, notes, storage of documents, and more, the process of creating a complete client record is intuitive and user-friendly.

RTasks has several features that provide logical and easy access to resident documents.

  • Customizable note types, referral types, and document types allow you to organize these.
  • View resident notes by date/time, but pull in additional notes – service notes, referral notes, incident notes – to create a complete timeline of events.
  • When faxes are received in EFAX (or scanned and uploaded from your own fax), document types and detailed descriptions can make retrieval all the easier.

Resident Profiles

The Resident Profiles are located in an electronic ‘chart rack’ of sorts, and presents the resident record in a familiar way.  Select the Resident Profile, and click to view the ‘Cover Page’ of information for that resident. The resident picture and ‘need-to-know’ information like start of care, allergies, and dietary needs are visible.  High-priority medical details (hospice, oxygen, code status, on anticoagulants) appear as flags.  Links to the Current Care Plan and Bio/History are here as well!  Actions to be performed on the resident record appear as icons in the lower portion of the Profile.

Basic Demographics

Admitting a resident is quick and easy. Begin by entering basic demographic data, allergies, code status, case manager, advance directives, etc. Upload a resident photo* and continue the process of adding health care information about the resident (primary and specific diagnoses, health care providers, organizations, insurance information, emergency contacts/support information, etc.). This is the information that becomes the resident profile. The resident or client profile data pulls into pertinent screens and many relevant reports that supply information such as emergency info, face sheets, health history, resident diagnosis lists, contact lists, MD patient lists, essential caregivers, and emergency placement. The information you need is always up-to-date and easily accessible. *The resident profile includes a photo release indicator.

Service Management & Charting

Services can be customized to meet the needs of your organization and the population you serve. The Service Plan can be created from the resident profile, or added in conjunction with an assessment.  Either way, service instructions can be individualized to specify each resident’s needs and preferences and ensure staff are clearly aware of expectations.  Supervisory services can be integrated into the system, prompting the nurse to intermittently supervise and document the efficacy of treatment services (oxygen, compression stockings, etc.). Once services have been added for a resident, those services populate to the Today screen, allowing staff easy access to view, document, add notes, and complete services assigned to them.

Medication Management & eMAR 

RTask’s eMAR, in its simplest form, allows users to enter and manage resident scheduled and unscheduled medications, assign them to staff, and document all administrations or refusals in real-time. RTasks allows users to create a complete medication management system that includes nurse review/setup of medications, customization of med instructions, standing order med sets, counting and tracking controlled meds, nurse review and commentary on meds administered by staff, documentation of med destruction, and a myriad number of reports ranging from completed MARs to analysis of psychotropic or antibiotic usage.  Pharmacy Connect is our integration with pharmacies to provide ongoing medication reconciliation capabilities between pharmacy and facility.
